New team playing our first season together. Players are made up of groups that have been in teams that have played in the Barnet League previously. The team name and crest pays tribute to a friend of ours that passed many years ago as a victim of knife crime and the sponsorship on our kit (Godwin Lawson Foundation) is a charity run by his mother and in his name. It’s dedicated to helping tackle knife crime through intervention and education of young people and by playing with the charity on our shirt we also hope to promote and raise awareness to the cause while also creating a good atmosphere on and off the pitch.
