About the Cup

The Intermediate Cup was introduced as part of a league restructure to better align cup competitions with the growing number of divisions. It provides mid-division teams with a competitive knockout tournament tailored to their level.

Since its introduction, the cup has offered clubs the opportunity to progress deep into a knockout competition and compete for honours against teams of similar standing.

Fun fact

The Intermediate Cup was created alongside changes to the league’s cup structure to improve competitive balance across divisions.
